Target Architectures

General  

The following documents target architectures currently maintained at the SNS. The only supported architecture are listed below for EPICS R3.14.7. The SNS template CVS Release R4-0 is used for R3.14.7 and provides the target architectures shown below.

Selection  

linux-x86 Select this architecture for linux-based soft IOCs
vxWorks-ppc603 Select this architecture for MVME2101 and vxWorks kernel 5.4.2 SNS CVS Release: SNS06, and SNS06x, where x=a or c
vxWorks-ppc603_long Select this architecture for MVME2112 and vxWorks kernel 5.4.2 SNS CVS Release: SNS06, and SNS06x, where x=a or c.
the "long" suffix is for boards with > 32Meg of RAM
vxWorks-ppc603_T2-2 Select this architecture for MVME2101/MVME2112 and vxWorks kernel 5.5.1 SNS CVS Release: SNS07. Note boards with > 32Meg are supported
vxWorks-ppc604_T2-2 Select this architecture for MVME5110 and vxWorks kernel 5.5.1 SNS CVS Release: SNS07. Note boards with > 32Meg are supported
vxWorks-mv2100_v6 Select this architecture for MVME2101 and vxWorks kernel 6.0. Note this is for vxWorks developers only and not for production.
vxWorks-mv5100_v6 Select this architecture for MVME5110 and vxWorks kernel 6.0. Note this is for vxWorks developers only and not for production
